Kind Words

“I had Britten create my piece because I was at time in life that I just moved through trying to be someone I was not. The painting she created is a reflection of my highest self, my soul. It hangs in my office where each day it reminds me of my sparkle, creativity, and light.”

“Our process of commissioning you to do three different pieces in our home was so powerful for us. You started the process being so open and free about what could be done. Coming to our actual home to see where the pieces would be and what we wanted to feel from the paintings was perfect! This gave us a level of comfort that really helped. Taking the time to know what was important to us for each piece and really the energy we wanted to feel and expand in our home was invaluable.

Each painting we have received exceeded anything we could have imagined. The paintings feel Alive! Full of energy and power. Like a personality that continues to grow and expand as they settle in our space. It feels like we have these “beings” in our home that are here to serve us, bring us joy and expand our life. They are so beautiful and we are forever grateful for all that you did to bring these to our home!”

“The only thing better than an incredible creation Britten conjures without you in mind is a piece that she creates specifically with you in mind. Many years ago I gratefully stumbled upon Britten as she was painting in a gallery in Colorado. That one encounter would stay with me for years floating around in the back of my mind as I didn’t purchase any of her art at the time I met her. One day I was browsing her website and a particular piece resonated with me so much that I pulled the trigger and jumped into the world of Britten art. When it arrived I simply couldn’t believe its beauty. It was perfect and resonated with me on an even deeper level than I had imagined.

A few years later, I would make a second investment in another jaw dropping purchase that I adore. Needless to say I am a fan and brings me to the current day...

Very recently I commissioned Britten to paint with intention for me. I am here to tell you that having her create an original piece of art set to your intentions is as if she brings your thoughts, dreams and inner most beliefs and desires to life on canvas. What you want to convey into a painting she will convey and it will awe you.  Her intuitive nature is clearly obvious in all of her art but I can honestly and without hesitation say that it is on another level when you commission her to intuitively create one for you. Please do yourself the honor and joy of allowing her magic to unfold for you. Simply put, you will never ever regret it… You will forever treasure it!”

“What is the link between the potency of experience and consciousness? How do a series of brushstrokes on canvas or the touch of a hand on our body uplift us? As an individual in the medical and healing arts, my work is to bring focused and loving attention to my fingers while I attend to the energy and structure of an individual’s body mind. It is an intention (within) and an expansion (without). Britten’s art is also this.

I have a painting by Britten done specifically for me. It is partly a collaborative effort of her oils and foils on fabric and my flesh and nail on strings. This duet of sound and color vibration is now embedded in a layered two dimensional masterpiece. The painting is a continually uplifting work. At times it lives on the large wall of my living room, at times in my treatment room. It touches everyone who looks upon it and causes a pause in their habitual mind. It allows a reset to a higher and clearer place serving as a reminder of conscious touch and intention. It brings one back to a home of wonder and joy within its coherent luminescence.

Angels incarnate through her medium.”

“Commissioning a work is a wonderful collaboration of creativity! I enjoyed my time with Britten discussing the scope of this piece of art, and where it would be located. Within those constraints, but without trying to control another’s creativity, I put together a palette of ideas, images, colors and symbols that resonated with me, and offered it to Britten to create an artistic interpretation and response. And, what a beautiful reply it was, inspiriting form to thought, and beauty to image. I am not an artist, so I deeply appreciate the formative conversation that resulted in this piece of art that resides in our home, and gratified to know that I was able to be a part of its creation. I look forward to collaborating with Britten again, knowing the result will be another wonderful co-creative endeavor.”
